While there are many mysteries in the Interior Design world none is as commonplace as questions about taste. Do we impose our taste on you? Do we help you avoid costly mistakes? Will we tell you what color you should use; or simply which to avoid?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and taste is subjective...so how do we actually work?
The key is that we don't impose our tastes on you, we help design in your voice. We typically don't create beauty, we recognize it and position it within the proper context. A photographer can edit a photo to change what you look like, but a truly talented one understands that capturing you, authentic, recognizable you at your finest is the true art.
And that is what most people don't understand about Interior Design. Would you like to know what most interior designers get wrong about clients or do you have other questions? We answer submitted questions in our monthly column published by Piedmont Lifestyles and syndicated on InsideNova.com.
