It means nights alone in bed while she works. It means strange smells from the studio, and respirator warnings upon entering. It means a baffling assortment of high-end tools and dollar store solutions mixed with irreplaceable vintage bits and arcane bobs. It means never being allowed to share a work in progress photo. It means respecting the process and trusting that an emphatic "I'm going to do it a different way" will turn out better than you could have envisioned. And more than anything it means we are always going to need more studio space...
