I just came back from a site visit with a new client. While we were looking at his living room we heard a rushing sound. Tracking it to the bathroom the water was moving and air was being forced out of his shower drain. It is always best to keep a level head in these situations. We remained calm and he called the builder as I headed outside to find the guys pressurizing the pipes. They accidentally thought all the completed homes were on a different system. Giving them the heads up they quickly shut everything down and asked if there would need to be any remediation. None for us, hopefully the same can be said for every other completed home. The situation was certainly stressful for the client, but a great opportunity to remember that even if things don't go according to plan we look for what do we do next as opposed to who to yell at.
