We received a call today from a vendor. He was very worried about a bump in the road. It is nice to work with people who genuinely care, and we allayed his concerns.
If the process was smooth, and the work was easy everyone would do it themselves. We know there will be obstacles and stumbling blocks, it is not a matter of if, but when you will encounter them.
Experience has taught us to always focus on how we move forward and not to lose momentum when one of these situations arises. We identified an alternative course together on the phone, took the steps to proceed and can now send our weekly update to the client letting them know not to worry, we have things well in hand.
